Resources for State Associations
The Coalition of Election Association Leaders (CEAL), a project of Election Center, helps state election associations grow by providing guidance, networking opportunities, best practices, and data-driven tools to enhance effectiveness. CEAL serves as a network for current, past, and aspiring election official leaders. These leaders support their colleagues both within their state and across the country.
In 2025, CEAL published the Association Maturation Guidebook, which serves as a resource and self-assessment tool for the evolution of election associations. Leaders and association members can use it to:
- Strengthen state associations that support their professional development, collaboration, and advocacy efforts.
- Provide practical strategies and tools to enhance the effectiveness and capacity of state associations to uphold the integrity of the election process
