The Election Center is a Section 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation registered with the Commonwealth of Virginia.

The Election Center is governed by a Board of Directors. Directors are appointed and serve according to the organization’s adopted by-laws. The Board of Directors determines staffing needs, sets policy, adopts the annual budget, and provides fiduciary and leadership oversight for the organization.
