Press Briefing on the Security & Transparency of the 2024 General Election
This briefing will cover the topics that are front of mind for voters and election administrators at this time of the cycle:
- Security measures put in place by election officials to protect: the legitimacy of the election, voters, voter registration and voting systems, their staff and themselves.
- We will go over chain of custody, voter authentication, partnerships with law enforcement, the various safeguards in place.
- Special time will be devoted to observation/watchers: what they can and cannot do, participation numbers this cycle.
- What do we mean when we talk about transparency? How should this increase confidence in the process?
